2025/2026 Season

Want to improve your musical theatre audition skills? On Monday, July 14 from 6:00 pm to 9:30 pm, Chandler Center for the Arts will offer a free musical theatre audition workshop for participants ages 15 and older. Conducted by Showtune Productions’ Artistic Director Seth Reines and Producer/Musical Director JR McAlexander, the workshop will help attendees prepare for professional musical theatre auditions from song selection, performance, preparation of resumes and headshots, audition etiquette and attire. Workshop attendees who actively wish to participate should prepare 32 bars from a Broadway classic or a song from SHREK, The Musical, and bring sheet music or iPad music in their key. Piano accompaniment will be provided.

For those interested, Chandler Center for the Arts will be taking free theatrical headshots, so come appropriately dressed for an audition. If you wish to have your current resume and/or headshot evaluated, please bring them.

In March of this year, Showtune Productions produced Chandler Center for the Arts’ Wizard of Oz and in 2024 their sold-out “Disney’s Beauty and the Beast”.
