ArtsPass Program

The Arts Pass program provides free tickets to non-profit agencies to distribute to clients who might otherwise be unable to engage in the arts. The Arts Pass program serves 2,000-3,000 underserved citizens each year. A $2500 sponsorship underwrites 100 tickets to this program.

Connecting Kidz – The Community Performing Arts Connection

2010-2011 Featured Artists: Alpin Hong, AXIS Dance Company and Street Beat

Now in its 4th season, through Connecting Kidz, Chandler Center for the Arts has been able to provide 6800 students, teachers, local musicians, and active adult communities educational workshops and performances. Some of the featured artists and programs have included Alvin Ailey Dance Company, Ririe-Woodbury Dance Company, Harlem Gospel Choir, Bearfoot Bluegrass, The Musical Adventures of Flat Stanley, JazzReach and St. Petersburg String Quartet. We are committed to making theatre, music, dance and other performing arts activities available to the Chandler community through Connecting Kidz. A $1,500 sponsorship could provide up to 1500 children the opportunity to see a live theatre event. That’s only $1 per student!

Free Summer Concert Series

2010 Featured Artists: The DelRayz, Bad Cactus Brass Band, Brad Richter, Calo Flamenco, “That’s Life” From Sinatra to Sondheim

The Free Summer Concert Series has been enjoyed by the public since 1996. A $3,000 sponsorship will give you title sponsorship of the series and will provide free entertainment for over 5,000 patrons each summer.

Musical Theatre & Glee Camps 2010-2011

Chandler Young Actors Group focuses on all aspects of music theatre to give campers a taste of the Broadway life with professional instruction given in dance, singing and acting. This includes rehearsing for the live stage performance for family and friends to enjoy, which takes place at the end of each camp session. Each camp serves 60 kids age 7-16. A $300-$500 sponsorship would give one underprivileged child the opportunity to participate in a 2-3 week camp.

Vision Kidz Program 2011-2012

The VISION KIDZ Program provides children the opportunity to work with a professional artist and create a piece of art that is representative of their creativity. It gives them the opportunity to go home with an artwork in hand and a better understanding of the creative process. The program serves over 2000 kids each year. A $500 sponsorship will provide up to (2) workshops and supplies for 50 children!
