General Operating Support

There are many ways for individuals and foundations to become involved with the Chandler Center for the Arts. Your sponsorship gift of $300 or more is greatly appreciated and can provide vital general operating support for the Chandler Center’s full range of activities.

On the other hand, many individuals and foundations want to make certain that their contributions are earmarked for performance programs of special interest to them, or for one of the Chandler Center for the Arts important educational and outreach efforts. While these contributions are usually made on an annual basis, the future of any Chandler Center for the Arts sponsored program can be secured with an endowment gift (not applicable on rental shows).

Endowment Gifts

Endowment gifts provide long-term stability and security for Chandler Center’s performance series, helping to maintain reasonable ticket prices and reducing the amount that must be raised on an annual basis.

What is an endowment and why do we need it?
An endowment fund is a permanently restricted net asset, the principal of which is protected and the income from which may be spent and is controlled by either the donor’s restrictions or the organization’s governing board. Endowments strengthen an organization’s sustainability and are the key to ensuring long-term stability.
