Showtune Productions announces auditions for its 2026 musical production of Shrek.
Showtune Productions and Chandler Center for the Arts will present an ethnically diverse, fully staged production of Shrek, with performances at Chandler Center for the Arts on Friday, March 13, Saturday, March 14 and Sunday, March 15. Adult auditions for this production will be held at Chandler Center for the Arts on Saturday, July 19, 2025 from 12 p.m. - 5 p.m., with callbacks on Sunday, August 10, 2025.
Auditionees, who must be 15 or older, should memorize 16 bars of a Broadway classic and bring sheet or iPad music in their key and a professional headshot and resume.
Shrek the Musical will be a fully staged production with a live onstage orchestra, scenic projections, costumes, and choreography. All performers will be paid and must be available for all evening and full-day weekend rehearsals on January 2-4, 2026 and February 28-March 12, 2026 with three performances on March 13-15, 2026. Showtune Productions supports inclusive, non-traditional casting.
