About Mariachi Pueblo Viejo
Founded in 2021 by Manuel Ponce, Mariachi Pueblo Viejo is a Tucson, Arizona–based ensemble dedicated to preserving the traditional mariachi music of Jalisco, Mexico. Under the musical direction of Maestro Daniel Rosales, a former member of Mariachi Nuevo Tecalitlán, the ensemble has performed at renowned venues including The Soraya in Northridge, California, and the Tropicana Las Vegas. Mariachi Pueblo Viejo has also shared the stage with Mariachi Nuevo Tecalitlán, Mariachi Los Camperos de Jesús “Chuy” Guzmán, Camila Fernández and Ximena Sariñana.
