Día De Muertos Community Event
Sunday, November 2 | 3:00 - 6:00 P.M.
This family-friendly event is FREE and features mask making, ballet folklórico performances, calaca puppets, a community altar, and a live musical procession featuring a capoeira demonstration. All of these activities are taking place in the lobby at CCA! Attendees are invited to dress in their Day of the Dead best.

Edna Vázquez Performance

Following the community festivities, guests are invited to a special ticketed performance by singer-songwriter Edna Vázquez at 7:00 P.M. Tickets are $32. A fearless singer, songwriter, and guitarist, Edna Vázquez is known for her powerful voice and passionate performances that transcend borders. Born in Mexico and based in Portland, Oregon, she blends traditional Mexican music with rock, folk, and pop influences, creating songs that explore themes of love, social justice, and cultural identity. Her music has taken her to stages across the U.S. and beyond, sharing her message of unity and empowerment.
Contribute to the Community Ofrenda
October 17 - November 2, 2025
The public is invited to contribute to the Día de Muertos community ofrenda (altar), designed by local artist Edgar Fernández. The ofrenda is located in the Gallery at CCA and will be open from 12:00 P.M. October 17, 2025 through November 2, 2025.
Bring items that honor your loved ones with a photo or object that reminds you of them. Objects may include sugar skulls, favorite non-perishable food or unopened beverages, paper flowers, and unlit or LED candles. Please sign into the guestbook to leave a note for your loved one, as well as to log any photos or mementos that have been dropped off and that you would like returned. Any personal items can be picked up from the CCA box office during regular business hours from November 3-7.

Se invita al público a contribuir a la ofrenda comunitaria del Día de los Muertos, diseñada por el artista local Edgar Fernández. La ofrenda está ubicada en la Galería del centro CCA y estará abierta desde las 12:00 p.m. del 17 de octubre de 2025 hasta el 2 de noviembre de 2025.
Traiga artículos que honren a sus seres queridos con una foto u objeto que le recuerde a ellos. Los objetos pueden incluir calaveras de azúcar, alimentos no perecederos favoritos o bebidas sin abrir, flores de papel y velas apagadas o con luces LED. Inicie sesión en el libro de visitas para dejar una nota para su ser querido, así como para registrar cualquier foto o recuerdo que se haya dejado y que desee que se le devuelva. Cualquier artículo personal se puede recoger en la taquilla del centro CCA durante el horario comercial regular del 3 al 7 de noviembre.
