Featuring work from the Telaraña Fiber Arts Guild
Textures of Arizona features a broad spectrum of work that highlights the majestic nature of this state we all call home. From the sandstone spires of Monument Valley to the outstretched arms of the iconic Saguaros, the beauty of this land is inescapable.
In October of 2020, the Telaraña Fiber Arts Guild prompted their members with a simple challenge: create artwork inspired by the Arizona landscape. While guild members were separated geographically due to the pandemic, this call enabled them to celebrate the many facets of a state they have all grown to love. Over the course of the past two years, these fiber artists have continued to find inspiration in the 48th state.
