Don’t miss the fun in this locally produced musical production presented by Showtune Productions. Complete with a live orchestra and chorus, our brightly costumed cast of the Valley’s premier musical theatre stars will delight in this concert version of Shrek the Musical. Filled with beloved songs like “All Star” and “I’m a Believer” you’ll fall in love with this story all ogre again. 

Shrek the Musical is hitting the stage at Chandler Center for the Arts from March 13-15, 2026.

Cast Members

Laura Alarcon (Dragon) is an accomplished musical theater artist whose career spans over 17 years. This Phoenix native has enjoyed diverse and challenging roles across many valley stages, including JC Superstar (Mary Magdalene), Tommy (Acid Queen), The Music Man (Marian Paroo), Into the Woods (Cinderella), Joseph…Dreamcoat (Narrator), Gypsy (Tessie Tura) and Sunset Boulevard (Norma Desmond, u/s performed). You can also catch Laura onstage in Showtune Production tributes: Dancing Queen, Go Your Own Way, Take it Easy, and Diva Legends! When she's not on stage, Laura serves as Showtune Productions Company Administrator, and is pursuing a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. However, her most thrilling roles to date are wife to Jose, and matriarch of their entire tribe: Joel, Omri, Angelo, Isaac, and Ian! 

Ellie Barrett Harvey (Gingy-Sugar/Duloc Dance/Tapper/ Blind Mice) is excited to be back with Showtune Productions! Favorite credits: Jersey Boys (Francine), Into the Woods (Florinda), 42nd Street (Anytime Annie), Something Rotten! (Sexy Omelette/Ensemble), Joseph...Coat (Potiphar's Wife/Ensemble), Anything Goes (Virtue), The ProducersA Chorus Line, Bandstand, and Singin' in the Rain. Performed at Moonlight Stage Productions, The Phoenix Theatre Company, San Diego Musical Theatre, La Mirada/McCoy Rigby Entertainment, Feinstein's 54/Below, Welk Resort, San Diego Opera, Hale Centre Theatre, and studied with The Radio City Rockettes. Jordan Bluth (Shrek) is thrilled to return with Showtune Productions at CCA!! Jordan performs extensively in concert repertoire with Showtune Productions, and was recently seen at CCA as Gaston in Beauty and the Beast. Other previous cherished roles include Emile DeBecque (South Pacific), Nicely-Nicely Johnson(Guys & Dolls), Nankie-Poo (Mikado), Francis (Forever Plaid), and Angus McGuffie (Brigadoon).  “My thanks to God for all gifts, to Mom & Dad for the gift of life, and Kaitlynn and kiddos for the gifts of love and joy!  Thank you JR and Seth for the privilege of performing with you once again!”

Kaitlynn Bluth (Fiona) is thrilled to be back at CCA after being seen as “Glinda” in The Wizard of Oz, “Belle” in Beauty and the Beast, and as a soloist in the NYE Broadway concert series.  Other selected theatrical credits include: Clara (The Light in the Piazza/ The Phoenix Theatre Company), Lina Lamont (Singin' in the Rain/ Showtune Productions), Cinderella (Into the Woods/ Arizona Broadway Theatre), Lily Craven (The Secret Garden/ ABT), Marian Paroo (The Music Man, TPTC, Showtune), and Audrey (Little Shop of Horrors/ ABT). As a concert performer, she has had the pleasure of singing with the Phoenix Symphony, Zions Youth Symphony and Chorus, Showtune Productions, and the Arizona Musicfest Pops Ensemble.  Education: B.A. in Musical Theatre Performance from ASU. Wesley Bradstreet (Pinocchio, Pied Piper) is thrilled to share the stage with this brilliant cast! An Arizona-native, he feels lucky to grow his talents as a performer and educator here in Phoenix. Select credits: Frozen, Into the Woods, Fully Committed, Unlock’d, Elf, DreamgirlsThe Prom, Bandstand, Singin’ in the Rain, Sound of Music (The Phoenix Theatre Company); Flight School, The Bully (Arizona Broadway Theatre TYA); My Man Godfrey (Arizona Theatre Company); Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer (Childsplay); The Little Mermaid (Hale Centre Theatre).  Outside of performing, Wesley is an arts administrator and teaching artist at many theatres across the Valley. Education: Bachelors of Music in Music Theatre Performance & Music Education from Arizona State University. Marisa Brady (Mama Shrek/Mama Bear) is thrilled to return to the stage after a 13-year hiatus. Past performance highlights include Guys and Dolls (Adelaide), Tommy (Mrs. Walker), The Wedding Singer, and Fiddler on the Roof. During her time away from performing, Marisa directed productions at theaters throughout the Valley, including Desert Foothills Theatre, Mesa Encore Theatre, and Mesa Community College. She is proud to serve as the Theatre teacher and Director of the Jaguar Players at Aprende Middle School. Marisa would like to thank her dad for encouraging her to get back on the stage. Most of all, a huge thank you to her husband, Ryan, for his constant support in everything she does and her two daughters, Charlotte (9) and Willow (7), for being her biggest fans.

Allison Graham (Fairy Godmother/Duloc Dance/Tapper/Blind Mice) is so happy to be a part of this amazing cast! She was most recently seen as the Wicked Witch of the West in Showtune Productions’ The Wizard of Oz. Here in the valley, she played Mother in Ragtime with AZMTO and is the soprano soloist at Our Lady of Joy parish in Carefree. Favorite roles include Narrator in Joseph....Dreamcoat, Guenevere in Camelot, Betty in White Christmas, and Belle in The Days of ‘98 Show with Soapy Smith. Ohio native, Otterbein University grad. Adam Guinn (Papa Bear/Bishop/Duloc Guard/U/S Shrek) is excited to be making his Showtunes Productions debut in Shrek: The Musical. Select credits: U/S General Pershing in The Hello Girls (The Phoenix Theatre Company), Rudolph in Hello Dolly!  (Arizona Broadway Theatre), Jean-Claude in The Phantom (Arizona Broadway Theatre), and Tevye in Fiddler on the Roof  (Hale Centre Theatre). Education studied Musical Theatre at The University of Northern Colorado . “Many thanks to everyone at Showtune Productions, friends, as well my family for their belief and support”. 

Katie Jurgemeyer (Humpty Dumpty/Duloc Villager) Katie’s favorite professional credits include Wizard of Oz (Munchkin Teacher/Ensemble), Nice Work If You Can Get It (Eileen Evergreen), White Christmas (Rita), Seven Brides for Seven Brothers (Sarah), Young Frankenstein (Ensemble), Hello, Dolly! (Ensemble), Singin’ in the Rain (Ensemble), Oklahoma! (Gertie Cummings) and 42nd Street (Ensemble), amongst others. BFA Fine Arts Studies (Magna Cum Laude) from The University of Arizona. Jon Landvick (Pig 1/Papa Shrek/Duloc Guard) is thrilled to make his Showtune debut! He recently has had a couple of different hats at TheaterWorks including serving as Music Director for Something Rotten and on stage as Old Deuteronomy (Cats), Joseph Pulitzer (Newsies), Admiral Boom/Chairman (Mary Poppins) and St. Aphrodisius/Father Dupin/Congregation (The Hunchback of Notre Dame). Notable performances include Assassins (Giuseppe Zangara – Stray Cat Theatre), Tommy (Uncle Ernie – Circle Theatre), Damn Yankees (Smokey – Metropolis PAC), Forever Plaid (Jinx – MPAC), The Wild Party (Oscar d’Amando – Bohemian Theatre Ensemble), and Sweeney Todd (Beadle Bamford – Porchlight Music Theatre). Much love to his bio/chosen family, and of course…Terre!

Caden Marshall (White Rabbit/Duloc Dancer/“Morning Person” Tap Dancer/Pinocchio Understudy) is thrilled to be back with Showtune Productions after playing Lumiere in Beauty and the Beast in 2024. He is currently pursuing a BS in Theater Arts, with a minor in Shakespeare Studies at Southern Utah University (SUU). Other favorite credits include: Dr. Neville Craven in The Secret Garden (SUU), Egeon in Comedy of Errors (SUU), Nicely-Nicely Johnson in Guys and Dolls (Intermountain Performing Arts Conservatory), Oscar Delancey/Bill in Newsies (Playmill Theater) and singing back-up for Sarah Brightman at the Venetian Theater in Las Vegas. Jonathon Meader (Big Bad Wolf/Dulac Guard) has a B.A. in Theatre from California Baptist University. He was honored to perform for many years in Southern California and spent several years as a technician at the Riverside Box Theatre. Most recently, he has been seen on stage in Stray Cat Theatre's Assassins (Czolgoz) and performs often with The Arizona Musical Theatre Orchestra.

Krista Monaghan (Witch Queen/Duloc Dancer/Tapper/Blind Mice) is excited to be working with Showtune Productions again. Originally from the Pacific Northwest, Krista is a graduate of the BFA Theatre program at Central Washington University. She has performed with many local theaters including The Phoenix Theatre Company, Hale Centre Theatre, and Theater Works.

Ryan Monaghan (Peter Pan/King/Duloc Greeter/Tapper) is thrilled to be returning to work with Showtune Productions for Shrek the Musical! He has been a part of their previous productions of The Wizard of Oz, and Beauty and the Beast! Ryan has performed all around Phoenix in various roles with The Phoenix Theatre Company, Hale Center Theater, Theaterworks, and the Phoenix symphony choir!

 

Dominic Montufar (Young Shrek/Baby Bear/Grumpy) is thrilled to be performing with Showtune Productions! Select credits: Tiny Tim in A Christmas Carol (The Phoenix Theatre Company), Pinocchio in Shrek the Musical, Les in Newsies, Charlie Brown in You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown, and Chip in Beauty & the Beast (all with Limelight Performing Arts). Awards: NATS National Semi-Finalist & NATS Regional winner, AriZoni Rising Star Nominee. Education: 4th grade, & member of Studio 3 Musical Theatre Company. Gabriela Montufar (Young Fiona) is excited to make her debut with Showtune Productions! Select credits: Oliver in Oliver, Jr. (AriZoni Winner), Winnie Foster in Tuck Everlasting, Annie in Annie Jr, Jojo in Seussical, Jr, & Fregley in Diary of a Wimpy Kid the Musical. (all with Limelight Performing Arts) Awards: NATS National & Regional Winner, AriZoni Rising Star Nominee and Winner. Gabriela is a member of the Studio 3 Musical Theatre Company & Studio 3DC Competition Dance Company. Dorian Peterson (Mad Hatter / Duloc Dancer) is overjoyed to be performing in Shrek the Musical, alongside this wonderful cast of talented creatives. He is ecstatic to be on the CCA stage for the first time and is incredibly thankful for this opportunity. Some of his previous credits include: Paul (A Chorus Line), Berger (Hair), Ensemble (SpongeBob the Musical) & Seaweed (Hairspray.) Dorian would like to thank Seth, J.R, Bri, and the entire Showtunes team, for blessing him with this wonderful opportunity. He’d also like to thank his mother and loved ones for their endless love and support. He cannot wait to let his freak flag fly!

Raul Sanchez (Thelonius/Duloc Guard) is thrilled to step into the swamp this season, bringing the hooded guard Thelonious to life in Shrek the Musical. Recent credits include understudying the Cowardly Lion in The Wizard of Oz, where he discovered the heart behind the roar, and joining the powerful ensemble of Ragtime. You may have also seen him in Hamilton, where he was part of the vibrant, urban pulse that defines this groundbreaking show. Raul is grateful for every rehearsal, every curtain, and every chance to share a little magic with an audience.”

Michael Thompson (Donkey) is thrilled to be making his Showtune Productions debut. Katie Walsh (Ugly Duckling/Duloc Dancer/Ensemble) is thrilled to be making her Showtune Productions debut in Shrek. Recent credits include The Addams Family (Alice Beineke), Sister Act (Sister Mary Lazarus), and Cats (Jemima). Thanks to the incredible production team, cast, and crew for making this show possible. Jacody Weathers (Lord Farquaad) is thrilled to be performing with Showtune Productions again! It’s always a joy!
