Steena Murray Mainstage Theatre
While the Steena Murray Mainstage theatre is the largest space at the Chandler Center for the Arts, seats at the back of the theatre are less than 100 feet away from the stage, providing a great view of the stage no matter where a patron may be sitting. The Main Stage provides patrons with a wonderful auditory experience and has been recognized with awards for its acoustics.
In 2018, the sound in the Mainstage became state-of-the-art with the installation of the AiRAY system from CODA Audio. Chandler Center for the Arts was the first venue in the United States to have the AiRAY system installed; it is considered one of the most outstanding sound systems on the international market. The system brings the artist to the patron, making the volume and sound the same for anyone in the theatre, no matter they are.
