Showtune Productions is holding an open call for youth auditions for its 2026 production of Shrek: The Musical at the Chandler Center for the Arts.
Shrek the Musical will feature a fully staged production, complete with a live on stage orchestra, scenic projections, costumes, and choreography. Performers selected must be available for evening and weekend rehearsals, which will occur from January 2-4 and March 1-12, 2026. The live performances will take place at the Chandler Center for the Arts on Friday, March 13, Saturday, March 14, and Sunday, March 15, 2026.

Roles
Young Fiona - actress must be 12 years old or under; height must be under 5 feet. Auditionees should prepare the first verse of "I Know It's Today" from Shrek the Musical and sing with the pianist provided.
Young Shrek - actor must be 5 feet or shorter. Auditionees should prepare 16 bars of a song or sing "Happy Birthday" with the pianist provided.
Either role may be asked to play Baby Bear or serve as an understudy
