A selection of artists who have performed at CCA

Virtual Concert: 30 Years of CCA

Since our grand opening in 1989, Chandler Center for the Arts has hosted hundreds of artists - some local, some global, all superstars. To celebrate 30 years of the arts in Chandler, we've pulled together a virtual concert of the performers who made us sing, smile, and dance in the aisles.

Rosemary Clooney

Jazz songstress Rosemary Clooney was simply exquisite when she appeared on our main stage. Click here to hear her sing the classic "Mambo Italiano."

Clint Black

Clint Black's first album was released in 1989 - the same year CCA opened its doors to the public. Coincidence? We think not when it comes to this sold-out artist. Watch his studio performance of "A Good Run of Bad Luck" here.

Debbie Reynolds

When Debbie Reynolds last performed on our stage, our patrons were treated hits from her storied career, as well as an appearance from her famous daughter Carrie Fisher. It was a show our patrons would not forget. During that performance she sang her first-ever chart-topper, "Tammy." Listen the original recording here.

Alpin Hong

The endlessly entertaining Alpin Hong rocketed straight to the top of our "favorite" list after he took the stage at CCA the first time. He has been back a number of times to entertain in the evening, after providing a special performance to local school children during the day. See why we can't get enough of Alpin with this video performance.

India.Arie

India.Arie wowed a sold-out crowd at the CCA last September. Experience the jaw-dropping singer/songwriter with her performance of "I am Light."

Melissa Etheridge

GRAMMY Award Winner Melissa Etheridge had the crowd on their feet and singing along with her greatest hits as the opening performer for our 30th anniversary season. Tune in here for her performance of "I'm the Only One."

Get the Led Out

The American Led Zepplin band, Get The Led Out, is one of our wildest - and most fun - shows at CCA every time we have them on our stage. See them perform in this concert video.

Burt Bacharach

So many classic songs in one show! Our CCA audience loved Burt Bacharach's performance. Missed the show? Live vicariously through this video performance of "What the World Needs Now."

Travis Tritt

Country fans in Arizona turned out in full force to see Travis Tritt perform an acoustic performance on our main stage. It was a spectacular night, full of great stories and even better songs (like this one).

Los Lonely Boys

This power trio brought their special blend of "Texican Rock & Roll" to CCA - and we're still talking about that amazing night. Turn your sound bar up and get the virtual Los Lonely Boys concert experience here.

Rita Rudner

Comedienne Rita Rudner had us laughing so hard, our faces hurt. Click here to see the stand-up legend in her element.

Sons of Serendip

Classical Crossover ensemble Sons of Serendip blows us away with their soulful, soothing sound each time they have performed at the CCA. Watch their performance of "Carry On Wayward Son" here.

Rita Moreno

Only a select few entertainers have won the EGOT: Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony Awards. Rita Moreno is one of them - and at her CCA performance, we got to see why that honor was well-deserved. Click here to see the legend perform.

Lorrie Morgan & Pam Tillis

The "Roots & Boots" tour brought these two country icons to our stage, and we were smiling for weeks. See video from that performance here.

Black Violin

The high-energy Black Violin packed our main stage twice in one day in January - an evening performance for CCA patrons and a special daytime performance for youth. We have loved watching this group explode in popularity.  See why with this video of their fan favorite, "Runnin."

Jonny Lang

Valentine's Day 2019 featured this swoon-worthy artist, who left our audience with stars in their eyes. Check out his performance of "Lie to Me" here.

Art Garfunkel

After this amazing show, we "Only Have Eyes For You," Art Garfunkel. Listen here for a perfect performance of this classic.

Jane Monheit

We were thoroughly wowed by the vocal talent of Jane Monheit. Get your goosebumps of the day by watching this rendition of "The Man That Got Away."

Glenn Miller Orchestra

In 1938, the Glenn Miller Orchestra took the USA by storm with its signature sound - and it's still going strong today! This band is a CCA favorite every time they are on our stage. See a video of their classic, "In the Mood," here.

Ben Vereen

Ben Vereen brought a little bit of Broadway to the CCA stage. To this day, his show makes us smile. Watch his performance of "Everything Must Change" here.

Pat Metheny Group

Our production crew has seen hundreds of shows over the years, and they say the Pat Metheny group is one of the best to grace our stage. As this video shows, there's a lot of talent contained in these five performers.

George Winston

George Winston is a master of conveying emotion through music and we have been honored by his performances at the CCA. Experience this amazing talent here.

KC & The Sunshine Band

So fun! So funky! We had a blast when KC & The Sunshine Band visited CCA. Get your dance on with this concert video.

Bernadette Peters

The sheer talent of Bernadette Peters left our audience open-mouthed in awe at the beginning of March. We loved having this icon as part of our 30th anniversary season.  Watch her acapella performance of "No One is Alone" here.

La Santa Cecilia

Every time we play La Santa Cecilia on our Spotify, we relive their amazing performance (and get even MORE excited for their return to CCA on May 9, 2021!). Listen to their amazing talent here.

LP & The Vinyl

We love shining our spotlight on fresh talent! When LP & The Vinyl performed in our Summer Series, they gained a whole theatre full of devoted fans! Now they've got a new album out (we hosted their release party!) and a return to CCA scheduled for April 2, 2021. Will we see you there? This video is a little sampling of what you can expect.

North Wind

The COVID-19 pandemic forced us to cancel our remaining events for our 30th season, but that doesn't mean the music stopped. So many amazing artists have made our CCA Anywhere Series something special, including North Wind, who dazzled us with a symphony of light and sound. You've got to see this performance

The Texas Tenors

With their breathtaking vocals, humor, and cowboy charm, The Texas Tenors are always a fan favorite in Chandler. The trio thrills audiences with their unrestrained setlist, from Broadway to boot-scootin’ and pop to patriotic. This song always makes our hearts stop just a little.

Zoppe Italian Family Circus

For more than a decade, Zoppé: An Italian Family Circus erected their signature tent on the Chandler High School field behind Chandler Center for the Arts. This intimate circus had no seat more than 20-feet from the crowd-pleasing, jaw-dropping action, making it a fun tradition for everybody in the family. See why with this video.

C.A.L.L.E de Arizona Mariachi & Folklorico Festival

A major highlight of our year is co-hosting the annual Mariachi and Folklorico festival with C.A.L.L.E. de Arizona. This nonprofit organization is dedicated to promoting the century's old beauty, qualities and traits of the Mexican/Hispanic culture through various forms of art. How lucky are we to have such amazing talent on our stage year after year? See this performance from the 2017 event.

Want a full dream-team concert lineup? We've compiled videos of all of these amazing performers in one YouTube playlist. Pop some popcorn, pour yourself a glass of wine, and settle in for an amazing night.
